Tuning Into the Frequency of Your Soul by Lisa Reber Nature's Pathways - November 2010
Quite often clients will say to me, “I wish I could have your special abilities.What a gift!”I always tell them they can do the same thing, “it just takes a different kind of listening.We all have intuitive abilities.” Ten years ago I was working part-time in a gift shop and playing ‘sally homemaker’ as we went through a long adoption process.You could not have convinced me then that in 2010 I would be an Intuitive/Psychic with clients all over the United States (both 2 and 4 legged clients). Life is funny that way.We, as humans, have been growing not only with our technologies, but with our consciousness as well.Twenty some years ago I was taking a Word Perfect 4.0 class at MPTC, now we are connected through the World Wide Web.That outer experience of reality is a reflection of the inner growth of each of us as consciousness. Does that seem like too much of a leap for you? Allow me to explain further.My first car was a 1988 Mercury Lynx.I was 20 years old and loved long trips to see my sister in college.The car had an AM radio and it had a tricky little knob that took patience to get a station with clear reception.I would play with the knob until I got a clear station and be so grateful that I would leave it there.Even if I disliked the content I was listening to.As technology has advanced, finding a clear station is a digital button away!I had a teacher that would keep her radio on the scan mode on long drives – never tuning into any one station. Like tuning into a radio station or connecting to the World Wide Web, I tune my frequency (or vibration) into the clients frequency (or vibration).When I do a Soul Reading with a client, I don’t focus on the physical person in this time and space.Instead, I focus on the energy of that person – their personal vibration; like tuning in a radio station.I will locate that particular vibration and ask what most needs to be expressed at this time? I start with the name, picture and date of birth – I don’t ask for any other information.The information is received by me like a computer downloading an e-mail from the internet!Most clients walk away from their reading with a sense of, “how’d she know all that!”I rarely have the client feel there are more questions that need addressing.What I’ve learned to do, anyone can learn.Even you! It is a matter of looking at the connectedness of all things.We are, on a Soul level, all connected to the same Power (Source).Learning to tune into the frequency of your inner Soul, to guides/angels, to the Divine, will open new worlds to each person. Here are a few simple tools to get you started: ·Sit comfortably with both feet on the floor.Look around you with a soft gaze, not focusing on any one thing.Just observe your surroundings without focusing.Breathe without focusing on the breath.As thoughts come in, just let them go.After a few minutes, bring your attention back to a ‘focused’ state. Practice this ‘floating mind state’ and as you get better set an intention to receive an answer to a question when you enter that state.Trust that the answer will come (it may not be what you expect or in the way you anticipate), and you will have your answer. ·This is a fun experience.With focused intention, send out a thought (energy) to someone close to you.Maybe ask them to call you.If you need to, visualize your thought moving through space from you to them.Within a few hours you will be receiving their call. I have a lot of fun with different versions of this.I’ll send thoughts to my husband of wanting ice cream and within a few minutes he’ll suggest an ice cream run to one of our favorite stops.I also send him shopping lists and sure enough he’ll call on his way home from work with much of the list in his head. Be open to the messages you receive from others as well.My friend Jane couldn’t find her phone and she called aloud for me to call her.No sooner had she spoken the words when her phone rang.I had called her to see ‘what she was up to’. What you really are learning is to pay attention in a different way.You are tuning into a different radio station that takes you into communication outside of the physical/material focus you are accustomed to; into an energetic focus. This journey has been fun and enriching for me, as I’m sure it will be for you as well.Most of all, allow yourself to become empowered by you own ‘inner knowing’.
